He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis G. Moehring and Emma L. Moehring Sr. (Grube); his wife Carolyn Roehling Richard; his daughter Theresa Ann Imig; his granddaughter Rebekah Imig; his siblings, David Moehring, Raymond Moehring, Elizabeth Fosnaugh, Hazel Imig, Frances Wiemer, Florence Stivers, Esther Leinweber and Donald "Pete" Moehring; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Moehring.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Moehring (LaDonna) of Boston, Ron Moehring (Debra) of San Jose, Dan Moehring of Lincoln, Dennis Moehring (Brenda) of Emden and Nancy Renken (John) of Mason City; his son-in-law Rick Imig of Clinton, Illinois; and his siblings, Louis Moehring Jr. and Jeannie Diers. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
