He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Ready and Myrtle Ready (Shumaker); his wife Carldeane Ready (Phelps); his siblings, Johnny Ready, Urban "Buck" Ready, Jerry Ready, Jim Ready, Barbara Ready and Sandra Phillips; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Ready, Joy Ready and Nancy Ready.
He is survived by: his children, Brent Ready (Sharon) of Mason, Illinois, Vicki McDonald (Alan) of Lantana and Rhonda Keller (David) of Newton, Illinois; his sister Lynda Ready of Effingham, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Glenda Ready and Pauline Ready; and his grandchildren, Amanda Jackson (Justin), Malissa Lorton (Chad), Clint Ready (Desiree), Laura Koester (Eric), Laura Delassus (Barry), Kimberly Herberer, Matthew Gobczynski (Kendra), Andrew Keller (Kelsey) and Ashley Schmidt (Jacob). He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mason Cemetery, Mason Civic Center, or the donor's choice.
