He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kuhlman and Marcella Kuhlman (Eident); his daughters, Candy Walden and Mary; his granddaughter Megan Pontious; and his siblings, Junior Kuhlman, John E. Kuhlman, Mary Carpenter, Norma Jean Van Meter, Alice O'Leary, Emma Austin and Carol Fancher.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kuhlman of Mason, Illinois; his children, Gerald E. Kuhlman, Jr. of Effingham, Julie Pontious (Norman) of Mason and Joyce Donsbach (Steve) of Mason; his siblings, Dewey Dean Kuhlman of Effingham, Barbara Jones of Farina, Linda Edwards of Effingham and Judy Austin (Danny) of Mason; and his son-in-law Sterling Walden. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mason Christian Church or the donor's choice.
