Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his parents, Pam Ketcik and Ron Rattaro; his stepmother Karyn; his siblings, Jason Rattaro, Reyanna Rattaro and Deena Gilbert (Josh); his siblings' children, Jordan and Jake; and his fiancée Heather Miller. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
