We announce the death of Loren Dean Wharton of Mason, Illinois, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 57. Loren will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Raleigh Wharton (Gene); his wife Stacy Wharton; his children, Tegan Booth (Jayden) and Tayli Wharton; his stepson Wade Stuckey; his siblings, Scott Wharton Greenville (Jo Ellen) of Illinois, Marsha (Bob), Carol (Jerry) and Darcy Rhoades; his mother Harriett Wharton; his grandparents, Raleigh, Pearl Wharton, Orville and Ellen Calhoun; his brother Raleigh Jr. Wharton (Bud); Julie Wharton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to help with expenses.
