He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan McMeekan and Martha McMeekan (Edgar); his siblings, Stanley McMeekan and Carolyn Starman; his grandson Chad McMeekan; and his daughter-in-law Diane McMeekan.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Lucas; his sons, Rick McMeekan (Christie), Brad McMeekan (Diana) and Tim McMeekan (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Brian McMeekan, Abbi Wilson, Bradley McMeekan Jr., Brandie Workman, Tabbytha McMeekan and Timmy McMeekan; his brother-in-law Donnie Hamilton; and his extended family, Billy, Amy, Abbie and Kathy. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
