She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Goering and Francine Goering; her husband James Shaw; and her sibling Thomas. She is survived by: her children, James Shaw (Laurie), Kelly Cranston (Edward), Melissa Wagner and Jennifer Doerr (Kristofer); her grandchildren, Emily Cranston, Brendan Kass (Taylor), Mathew Shaw (Emily), Meagan Turner, Tyler Shaw, Andrew Doerr, Jillian Turner, Ashley Doerr, Courteney Cranston, Thomas James Cranston, Adam Doerr and Kaylan Wagner; her great grandchildren, James Kass, Arya Kass and Parker Kass; and her siblings, Ellen (Joe), Gayle (John), Rusty, Sue (Cas) and Jean. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
