He is survived by: his parents, Esilvio Mercado and Maria Mercado; his children, Elijah, Alaina, Torian, Carmela, Ayannah and Jeremiah; his grandson Andres Eli; and his siblings, Soledad Nelson (Keith) and Evedniel Mercado (Fabiola). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall (14128 S Kildare Ave, Robbins, IL 60472).
