Sharon S. Demkovich Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon S. Demkovich of Matteson, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Demkovich and Audrey Demkovich. She is survived by : her sister Shirley Filipello; her brother-in-law Neal Filipello; her pets, Petey and Mokey; and her godsons, BJ Gora and Gino Filipello. She is also survived by sisters in law, brothers in law and many nieces and nephews.

“My Deepest sympathy to the family Sharon and I attended High School together and graduated the same year in 1973. After loosing touch with her, we reconnected through FaceBook. Sharon and I would get together about once a month to have dinner. She loved her cats and I remember how she would bring Cleo to me to have her groomed. I hope that she has finally found peace and is reunited with all of her furbabies. Rest peacefully, Sharon!”

“My Condolences to the family - Sharon and I became friends in High School. We graduated together in 1973 from Morgan Park High School. After graduating we lost touch and didn’t talk again until much later after finding each other again on FB. I’m really sorry to hear she’s passed - I will miss her comments on FB, her quick wit, and determination to tell it as it is. She was certainly a good friend, fun to be around. We shared a love for cats. Rest in peace, Sharon!”
