It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd Edwin Taylor Jr. of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Edwin Taylor Sr. and Opal Fern Taylor (Walters); and his brothers, Kenneth P Taylor and Don Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Jason Taylor of Charleston, IL, Jarrod Taylor (Theresa) of Shelbyville, KY and Shalie Taylor of Atwood, IL; and his siblings, Arthur Taylor of Kings Mountain, NC, Doris Henderson of Mattoon, IL and Iris Feinberg of Annandale, VA.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in his/her honor may be given to the American Cancer Society.
