He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Scott (Ford); and his sister Cindy Reeley. He is survived by: his father Robert Scott; his husband Loran Owens; his children, Sarah McKee (Trevin), Blaire Logsdon (Waylon) and Daniel Scott (Maria); and his brothers, Steve Scott (Deana) and Mark Scott (Shelly).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the Coles County Animal Shelter.
