He is survived by: his sons, Malachi Hampton (Mindy) of Mattoon, IL, Steven Eggers and Lawrence Eggers; his siblings, Patty Fromherz (Eric) of Mattoon, IL, Linda Henderson of Mattoon, IL, Melissa Pugh of Mattoon, IL, Ron Eggers (Barbara) of Cocoa, FL, Sidney Eggers (Joy) of Mattoon, IL and David Eggers of Lerna, IL.; and his granddaughter Malaya.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
