He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith of Mattoon; his children, Jimmie Smith Jr. of Charleston, Susan Clifton (Tony) of Ashmore and Sherry Douglas (Jeff) of Mattoon; his grandchildren, Kimberly Binnion (Chris), Lacey Spence (Noah) and Maddalyn Werden (Zac); and his siblings, Robert Smith, Lawrence Smith, Bill Smith, Dennis Smith, Jerry Smith, Nancy Cobble, Marie Anderson, Betty Smith and Peggy Smith. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
