She was predeceased by: her parents, John H Carruthers and Dorothy Carruthers (Clark Bowen); her husband David L Brownback; and her sisters, Connie Vancleave and Barbara A. Bowen.
She is survived by: her brother John R. Carruthers (Michele) of Sigel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
