She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Stremming and Lucille Stremming (Huffmaster); and her siblings, Mary Biehler, Kenneth Stremming, Keith Stremming, Kermit and Kerwin Stremming.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Reel; her sons, David Reel (Jan) of Fenton, MO, Terry Reel (Cindy) of Mattoon, IL, Kent Reel (Lisa) of Urbana, IL and Monte Reel of Evanston, IL; her grandchildren, Lindsey Ames, Megan Reel (Sarah Bartholic), Ryan Reel, Dillon Reel (Coley), Sam Reel, Jack Reel, Sofia Reel and Violet Reel; her great grandchild Amelia Ames; and her brothers, Gaylord Stremming (Dixie) and Richard Stremming (Cathern).

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church or Lincolnland Hospice.
