She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roberts and Pearlie Ann Roberts (Pulliam); her husband David Loran Smyser; and her great grandchild Tyson Mendoza Hooker. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Hilligoss (Don) and Diana Smyser (Shane Perry); her grandchildren, Celena Sims (Derrick), Clint Hilligoss (Rachel), Danny Hilligoss (Emily), Ciara Hooker (Justin) and Jesse Smyser of Mattoon, IL; and her great grandchildren, Madielynn Crowe, Andrew Sims, Ava, Tatum, Amelia, Tyson Mendoza, Hannah Hilligoss, Leah Hilligoss, Vivienne Hilligoss and Roman Beliz.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (1285 W State St, Charleston, IL 61920).
