He is survived by: his children, Janet McFarland of Mattoon, IL, Michelle Overbeck (Steve) of Jewett, IL, Michael McFarland Jr. (Becky) of Neoga, IL and Heather McFarland of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Christy Worthey, Paul Lawhorn, Kalee McGuire, Brock Overbeck, Brittney McFarland, Zach McFarland and Cheyenne McFarland; his great grandchildren, William Worthey, Elizabeth Worthey, Brekyn Lawhorn, Piper Lawhorn, Payton Rivers, Rhett Stone, Bentley Overbeck, Emry McGuire, Kashley McGuire, Kohen Mahaffey and Cheyenne McFarland; and his siblings, Linda Cordes of Mattoon, IL, Alan McFarland of Mattoon, IL and Doug McFarland of Mattoon, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
