The memory of Monte Ray Woodyard of Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Finis and Ethel Jeanne Woodyard (Richey); his former wife Nancy Beavers; his daughters, Krista "Dawn" Lindsey (Mark) of Matton, IL and Kayla "KJ" Woodyard of Matton, IL; his brother Doug Woodyard (Susan) of Ashmore, IL; his grandchildren, Ashley Barrett, Maisie Parsley, Madyson Parsley, Deegan Parsley and Trustin "Curly" Lindsey; his niece Tiffany Woodyard Ingle; and his nephew Cory Woodyard. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ashmore Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorials in Monte's honor may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children.
