Phyllis A. Huckstep Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis A. Huckstep of Mattoon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis A. Huckstep to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Evelyn Keck (Cox) and Charles R. Keck; her siblings, Gene R. Keck Charles Keck, Karen L. Keck and Agnes Halcomb (Huey Halcomb); and her niece Kerry Keck.
She is survived by: her brothers, James H. Keck of Long Beach, CA and David L. Keck (Patty) of Neoga, IL; and her sister-in-law Darlene Keck.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Inc. (520 Oak Ave, Neoga, IL 62447). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (680 N Walnut St, Neoga, IL 62447).
Memorials are suggested to the Sara Bush Lincoln Hospice in Mattoon, Illinois or St. Patrick Cemetery in Trowbridge, Illinois.
