Reginald Tate Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Reginald Tate of Mattoon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Tate (Fleckenstein); and his son Stephen. He is survived by: his children, David Tate (Lynn), Carolyn Lang (Michael), Robert Tate (Lynda), Laura McLaughlin (Mark), Paul Tate (Ginna), Ann Tuchnowski (Thomas) and Christine Hoffman (Michael); his brother Richard Tate (Diana) of Chesterfield, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Tate and Lois Dupre Shuster. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Mt Lebanon, PA.
