With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda F. Roytek of Mattoon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Ozburn and Mildred L. Ozburn (Wilson); and her sisters, Barbara J. Carlock and Mary E. Sarensen. She is survived by: her stepfather Albert; her stepchildren, John (Ann) of Mattoon, Michael of Dallas, TX, Ann Rylko (Mike) of Crystal Lake, IL and Mary "Moni" Sheehan (Mark) of Fairfield Glade, TN.; her nieces, Teri Lynn Schindel (Dennis) of Marinette, WI and Bobbi Kay Bernhardt (Mike) of Anderson, IN; her nephew Guy Roberts (Shannon) of Creal Springs, IL.; her grandchildren, Michael Leon, Sarah and Emily; her stepson Gary R. Roytek; her grandson Anthony V. Sheehan II; and her caregiver Emily Livingston.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (320 N 21st St, Mattoon, IL 61938).
