James left this world on June 21, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest McCormack and Martha McCormack (Petry); his wife Nancy McCormack; and his siblings, Bud, Don, Chuck McCormack and Dorothy Haas.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Wendling (Russ); his granddaughters, Kaitlyn White (Jeremy) and Anna (Jake); his great grandchildren, Hailey, Trevor White, Oliver and Calvin Hynes; his siblings, Cork McCormack, Bill McCormack (Nancy), Ken McCormack (Raynell) and Helen Griffiths; his sister-in-law Janet McCormack; and his godchildren, Samantha Wittkamp and Casey Roth.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Verona Methodist Church or Serenity Estates Activities.
