It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Mills of Mazon, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Cantlin and Laura Doerr; her former life partner Eugene Mills; her son Jacque Mills; and her son-in-law Mark Harlow.

She is survived by : her children, Laurita Mills (Joel Kaestner), Joseph Mills (Barb Hoy), Charlene Morris, Doreen Harlow (late Mark) and Wesley Mills (Carol); her grandchildren, Ryan Mills (Lindsey), Chaley Dimoff (Brian), Wesley Morris, Kaitlyn Harlow (Justin Bauer), Perry Harlow, Colin Mills, Cassandra Scarsella (Ben) and Catherine Mills; and her great grandchildren, Penelope Jane, Eloise Mae Scarsella, Harper, Eden, Jackson Mills, Hannah Rose, Troy and Ronald Bauer.

She really enjoyed attending services and learning from Bible studies, even as COVID-19 kept her away.
