He is survived by : his wife Barbara Phillips of McClure, IL; his children, Renee Day (David) of Memphis, TN, Sheila Dorsey (Doug) of St. Louis, MO, Dr. Kenneth Phillips (Emily) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Kristi Rowan (Brian) of Olive Branch, MS, Kirk Phillips (Lee) of Shelbyville, KY, Clay Phillips of Cincinnati, OH, Kyle Phillips (Gretchen) of Kansas, IL and Gretchen Bunch (Darryl) of Jonesboro, IL; his grandchildren, David (Shelly), Hunter (Derek), Haley (Trevor), Connor, Taylor, Troy, Kirk, Holden, Alaina, Stephen, James, Kaitrin, Seth and Hanneli; his great grandchildren, Leala, Emerson, Rowan, River, Della and Cora; and his nieces and nephews, Asher David Phillips and Spencer Thomas Phillips. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Anna Cemetery (608 E Davie St, Anna, IL 62906). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to Residential Hospice, the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
