She is survived by: her husband William "Ed" Beard Sr.; her children, Mary Beard, William "Bill" Beard Jr. (Sheila), John Beard (Sue) and Susan Cooney (Daniel); her grandchildren, Lauren Beard and Tim Busby; and her sister Dory Vail. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
