It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary A. Engelhart of McHenry, Illinois, born in Spring Grove, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ferd Engelhart and Violet Fairbanks (Sheriff); his former life partner Elizabeth (Florczak); his wife Linda (Neville); and his siblings, Bonnie, Steven and Richard.

He is survived by : his children, Michael, Eric, Mark Engelhart and Lisa Stricker (Grant); his grandchildren, Amanda, Marissa, Mickey, Alyssa, Deric, Calista and Brian; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Alec; and his siblings, Sandy, Dawn, Denise, Bob, Fred and Patrick O'Conner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Mayo Clinic in memory of Gary.
