He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Gladys; his son Tom Griffin; and his brother Frank Pospichel. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Griffin; his children, Jeff Griffin (Stacy) of Johnsburg, IL, Rick D. Pospichel (Karrie) of Danridge, TN, Terrie Dillow (Earl) of Somers, WI and Tammy Ruple (Billy) of Fulton, MS; his daughter-in-law Marjorie Walsh-Griffin of Antioch, IL; and his siblings, William Layton (Linda) of Houston, TX and Carlene Pospichel of Texas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
