He is survived by: his daughter Valya Grempka (Robert); his grandsons, Harvey and Gavin; his sister-in-law Missy Spengel; and his siblings, Pam Patterson (Marty), Kim Johnson, Joy Rossman, Scott Spengel (Diane) and Keith Spengel (Trish). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory (591 Ridgeview Dr, McHenry, IL 60050). A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Church of Holy Apostles (5211 Bull Valley Rd, McHenry, IL 60050).
