She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo C. Prouty and Irene A. Prouty (Pollow); her sister Loretta Phillips; her godson Charles Peck; her stepmother Vera Prouty; her in-laws, Stephen and Caroline Horvath; her siblings-in-law, Dean, Steve, Joe, Mike Horvath, Fred Hanssen, Sr., Sophie Hanssen, Ann, Marie, Pearl, Mary Horvath, Mary Powers and Boston; and her great-grandparent Henry Hulse.
She is survived by: her husband John M. Horvath; her children, John A. Horvath of McHenry and Judy E. Cooper (Horvath) of Rockford; her granddaughter Michelle Wilkey (Cooper) of Massachusetts; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Ella and Maeve Wilkey; and her sister-in-law Mim Horvath. She is also survived by numerous cousins, a loving group of nieces and nephews.
