She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Nicklas and Betty Nicklas; her husband Dale Karsten; her children, Lori and Scott; and her sister Donna Jurs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Pace (Frank) and Carol Taylor; her daughter-in-law Lynn Karsten; and her brother Ken Nicklas (Carla). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
