He is survived by: his wife Dr. Erin Davis DeLay; his sister Michelle Morgan (Kent Morgan); his children, John Hagen, Kate Walton (Morgan) and Chris Walton; his cousins, Richard, Tom and Karen; his sister-in-law Megan Davis-Ochi (Robert Ochi); his nephews, Liam and Tyler; his niece Faye; and his pets, Griz and Sox.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (591 Ridgeview Dr, McHenry, IL 60050). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (2304 W Church St, Johnsburg, IL 60051).
