He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Gatsakos and John Gatsakos; and his niece Kelly Irene Gatsakos. He is survived by: his son Anthony Gatsakos of McHenry, IL; his aunt Mary Amidei; his siblings, Lisa Guinta (Dominic) of Lake Zurich, IL and John Gatsakos (Marybeth) of Powers Lake, WI; and his siblings' children, Amanda, Stephanie, Jenell, Dan, Chris, Sam and Tony.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014).
