He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thoma and Louise Thoma (Devaux); and his sisters, Mary Langhi and Barbara Thoma. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Thoma; his sons, Mark Thoma (Angela) and Matthew Thoma; his granddaughter Madisen Thoma; his sister Jeanett Jurgot (Tom); and his cousin Lois Potvin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Habitat for Humanity.
