Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Beard and Mary Beard (Long); his wife Arlene Beard; and his brother Bob Beard. He is survived by: his children, Mary Beard, William "Bill" Beard Jr. (Sheila), John Beard (Susan) and Susan Cooney (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Lauren Beard and Tim Busby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
