He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leslie "Pete" Johnson and Thelma Jewel Johnson (Satterfield); his son Bradley Allen Johnson; his grandson Lucas Johnson; his great grandchild Ezra Guthrie; and his siblings, Carleen Bailey, Shirley Aydt and Dewain Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Johnson (Zinn) of McLeansboro; his children, Scott Johnson (Jackie) of McLeansboro, Jimmy Ingram (Krystal) of McLeansboro, Justin Ingram (Kara) of Norris City, IL and Deannine Craddock (Donnie) of McLeansboro; and his caregivers, Debbie Bowers, Danielle Vineyard and Danny. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christian Chapel Church (302 E Market St, McLeansboro, IL 62859). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Ten Mile Cemetery (11698 Ten Mile Rd, McLeansboro, IL 62859).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Danny's memory to SSM Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the church or at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
