He is survived by: his brothers, John J. Wellen (Minne) and Frank Wellen (Sharon) of Broughton, IL. He is also survived by 10 nieces & nephews, several cousins, and several great-nieces & great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (7598 Piopolis Rd, McLeansboro, IL 62859). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (7598 Piopolis Rd, McLeansboro, IL 62859).
