She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Ray Veatch; her son Arnold Ray Veatch; and her parents, Charles "Chick" Bowers and Lula Mae Bowers (Abbott). She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Karcher (Larry Karcher); her grandson John Christopher Kramer; her children, Charles "Chick" Bowers and Lula Mae Bowers (Abbott); and her siblings, William Lee Bowers (Barbara), Paula S. Fraley (Bowers), Mary Cannon (Bill Cannon), Jerry D. Bowers, Debra White (David White) and Mike "Smiley" Bowers. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her many caring friends & neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's honor may be made to the Hamilton County Senior Citizen Center, and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
