He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roberts and Lorabell Roberts (Meeks); his siblings, Bernice Moreland and Henry "Bud" Roberts; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Shirlene Hagen; his sons, Morgan "Marty" Roberts (Julie) of Medora and Jeffrey Roberts (Melissa) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Amanda Lloyd (Brad), Cody Roberts (Victoria) and Morgan Roberts Jr.; his great grandchildren, Anders Lloyd and Emmery Roberts; his sister Betty Bennett; and his sister-in-law Marlene Roberts. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
