With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Eugene Richey Jr. (Medora, Illinois), who passed away on November 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sr. Richey and Alice Richey (Kaufman); and his sisters, Esther Searls, Doris Elliott, JoAnn Taylor and Loretta Farrell.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Bomkamp; his children, Becky Sers (Ed) of St. Charles, MO, Joe Richey (Lynn) of Medora and Ben Richey (Amy) of Medora; his grandchildren, Sarah Richey, Taylor Richey, Clayton Richey, Adam Smiley (Mattie) and Bo Richey (Kailey Stark); his great grandchild Easton Smiley; and his sister Dorothy Richards.
