He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria; his children, Jose (Alondra), Isabel Marrero (Oscar), Antonio (Valerie), Santiago Sanchez (Araceli Novarro), Tata of Fabian, Jorge, Briana, Brandon, Victoria, Annalis, Shane, Mason and Lisandro; his great grandchild Ava; and his siblings, Carlos (late Trinidad) and Esperanza Santana (late Domingo).
