He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth; his daughter-in-law Kathleen; his parents, William and Bernice; and his siblings, Kenneth (Dolores) and Margaret Burns (late Robert).

He is survived by : his children, David (Judith), Linda Bartkowicz (Roger), John (Yesenia), Mary Gonzalez (Peter), Anne and William; his grandchildren, Alisha (Dan), Jennifer, Stephen, Stephanie, Amanda, Katelyn, Rachel and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Mason and Hunter.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carbonara Funeral Home (1515 25th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160).
