It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nohemi Montenegro of Melrose Park, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her spouse Noel Montenegro; her parents, Rutillo Arreola and Anastasia Arreola; and her sibling Rutilio Arreola (Marta). She is survived by : her children, Martha Patricia Cepeda (George), Noel Montenegro (Abby Colich) and Jorge Montenegro (Melissa Guerrero); her grandchildren, George Alexander Cepeda, Victoria Alexis Cepeda, Annabel Montenegro, Vivianna Montenegro and Lana Montenegro; her siblings, Jaime Arreola (Adela), Olivia Guerrero (Emilio) and Aida Argueta (Rafael); her caregiver Lucy Torres DePagan; and also Leona.
