He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Ziemer and Jeanette Ziemer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Ziemer (Marek); his children, Deborah Gross (Jason) and Andrew Ziemer (Melissa); his grandchildren, Josiah, Jullienne, Ashley, Madison and Joshua; and his siblings, Erwin Ziemer (Winifred) and Marilyn Plinske (Martin).
