He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbie Widlowski; his parents, Norman Kessling (Lucille) and Grayce Kraus (Christian); and his sister Denise Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Zuffante (Jerry), Michael (Rose) and Mark; his grandchildren, John Jr. (Abby), Matthew (Kathleen), Michael, Lauren (Nick), Nicholas and Kody; his great grandchildren, Emmy, Sophie and Cole; his siblings, Cyndi Hairrell (Michael) and Norman Kessling; and his close friend Kathy Augustine.
