It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Dueringer of Melvin, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Dueringer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Cox and Doris Andrews Cox. She is survived by: her husband Larry Dueringer of Melvin; her children, Michael Dueringer (Jennifer) of Melvin, Carl Dueringer of Melvin and Sara Rawlins (Ben) of Atwood; her grandchildren, Lane Dueringer (Taylor), Ross Dueringer, Taylor Tjarks (Tye), Payton Rawlins and Anna Rawlins; her great grandchild Reed Tjarks; and her siblings, Janet Meiss (Richard) of Sibley and Brian Cox (Jody) of Gibson City.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Rosenbaum Funeral Home (925 IL-47, Gibson City, IL 60936). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melvin Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Melvin United Methodist Church (129 N Center St, Melvin, IL 60952).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Melvin United Methodist Church, Gibson Area Hospital Foundation or to the Roberts-Melvin Fire Department.
