She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brown and Marian Brown (Deaner); her husband Harry Phalen; her sons, Brad Phalen and Brian Phalen; and her siblings, Bill Brown, Joyce Hoffman and Barb O'Leary.
She is survived by: her son Craig Phalen (Luci) of Missoula, MT; her daughter-in-law Holly Phalen; her grandchildren, Tonia Gott (Joe), Jodi Phalen, Becky Pelka (Ryan), Jason Phalen, Kim Phalen, Josh Phalen, Sarah Veltz-Phalen, Andrew Phalen (Krysta), Ben Phalen, Morgan Phalen, Laura Phalen, Luke Phalen, Olivia Phalen and Mallary Meyer (Joseph); and her brother James Brown. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren: 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory may be directed to Mendota Area Senior Services (M.A.S.S.) or the Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry.
