He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Deming and Joyce Deming (Gehant); and his sister Pam Boelk. He is survived by: his wife Becky Stuber August; his sons, Chris Deming (Skye) of Ohio and Nick Deming (Julie) of North Carolina; his siblings, Beth Kerchner (Butch Haines) of Mendota, Steve Deming of Wisconsin and Sue Deming of Oklahoma; and his mother-in-law Ellen Stuber.

Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, Mendota.

“I was so sad to hear of Craig's passing. I knew him years ago when he worked at the Shell station and I was working at Fischer and Phalen's 66. We would meet each other after work and find something to do, whether good or bad. He could fix anything. There were so many good times with him I can't recall all of them now, but the memories will be with me forever. I will miss him. His loss saddens me greatly. My condolences to all his family.
