In loving memory of Dan Sarver of Mendota, Illinois, born in Leland, Illinois, who departed this world on December 11, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sarver and Reba Sarver (Jackson); and his father-in-law Donald O. Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Becky Sarver of West Brooklyn; his sons, Chris Sarver (Samatha) of Princeton, IL and Chad Sarver (Brittney) of DeKalb, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ethan and Taryn Sarver; his sister Peggy Jones of West Brooklyn, IL; and his mother-in-law Velma Schmidt of Mendota.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at the Horner Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342).
Memorials are to be established and can be made to the family.
