Duane Fassig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Fassig of Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Milton and Marge (Bieser); his wife Peggy Rider; his children, Debora Black (Don) of LaSalle, Kevin Fassig (Karen) of Mendota and Keith Fassig (Laura) of Earlville; his grandchildren, Jim Black, Bill Fassig (Lindsey), Beth Kasper (Zach) and Jonathan Martin; his great grandchildren, Landon Schmidt, Charlotte Fassig, Kade, Izzy, Jackson and Remy Kasper; his brothers, Norm Fassig (Joyce) and Lynn Fassig (Lynne); his friend Darlene Rose; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Betty Fassig Pallbearers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
