He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Bell and Ella Bell (Winifred); and his siblings, Ralph Leeder, Herbert Bell, Judith Coombs and Delbert Bell.

He is survived by: his sister Sandra Brown (Robert); his daughters, Dawn Andresen, Shelly Bell, Joni Zinke (Brian) and Julie McConville (Brian); and his grandchildren, Aimee Rock (Rick Hanson), Ashlee Nygren (Jon), Aubree Jenkins (Matt), Alxee DeMars (Jordan Dahlback), Derek Stockon, Kaitlyn Stockon, Brannon Zinke (Alana), Kyrsten Zinke (Brandon Blake), Kelci Feathers (Tommy) and Madison Sudaj (Kirby). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Abigail Women's Clinic in Mendota, Il.
