He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Bell and Ella Bell (Winifred); and his siblings, Ralph Leeder, Herbert Bell, Judith Coombs and Delbert Bell.

He is survived by: his sister Sandra Brown (Robert); his daughters, Dawn Andresen, Shelly Bell, Joni Zinke (Brian) and Julie McConville (Brian); and his grandchildren, Aimee Rock (Rick Hanson), Ashlee Nygren (Jon), Aubree Jenkins (Matt), Alxee DeMars (Jordan Dahlback), Derek Stockon, Kaitlyn Stockon, Brannon Zinke (Alana), Kyrsten Zinke (Brandon Blake), Kelci Feathers (Tommy) and Madison Sudaj (Kirby). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wasmer Funeral Home (2112 W Main St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be directed to Abigail Women's Clinic in Mendota, Il.

We shared a lot of libation and golfing fun for the last 18 years. I will miss his friendship and our frequent interaction solving world problems. He was a great guy and competitor. John”
